About This Game Shadows Peak is an atmospheric, open-world horror game focused on exploration that doesn't hold your hand. The main focus of the game is on the atmosphere, story, and exploration. Unlike most horror games, Shadows Peak allows you to explore large environments and progress through the game in a non-linear way.You play as the writer Tom Blair who has decided to visit a mysterious place called Shadows Peak to gather materials for a new book about legends. A number of people have gone missing in Shadows Peak. Some people claim that they saw something that they shouldn’t have been able to see there and, of course, there are some dark legends surrounding this place.Key FeaturesLarge environmentsNon-linear gameplayNo hand holdingMysterious storyHaunting atmosphereGamepad support for 50 controllers 6d5b4406ea Title: Shadows PeakGenre: Action, AdventureDeveloper:Andrii VintsevychPublisher:Andrii VintsevychRelease Date: 13 Mar, 2017 Free Download Shadows Peak .zip shadows peak walkthrough. pinnacle peak shadows homes for sale. lone peak shadows hoa. pinnacle peak shadows hoa. lone peak shadows townhomes. stonepeak shadows collection. shadows peak pc download. shadows peak download. four shadows cody peak. shadows peak. shadows peak trailer. shadows peak steam. shadows peak wiki. shadows peak guide. shadows peak review. shadows peak trainer. no shadows cody peak. shadows peak download. pinnacle peak shadows scottsdale. shadows peak guide. pinnacle peak shadows homes for sale. shadows peak review. shadows peak pc. four shadows cody peak. lone peak shadows townhomes. shadows peak wiki. shadows peak test. shadows peak trainer. shadows peak walkthrough. shadows of valhalla sneak peek. shadows peak game. shadows peak gameplay. shadows peak trailer. no shadows cody peak. shadows peak pc. shadows of valhalla sneak peek. shadows peak gameplay. shadows peak pc download. shadows peak. lone peak shadows hoa. shadows peak steam. pinnacle peak shadows scottsdale. shadows peak game. stonepeak shadows collection. shadows peak test. pinnacle peak shadows hoa First 20 minutes of the game:https://youtu.be/C7Vjmtsgo-8I would recomend the game if you like exploring and not being shown where to go, or to be limited in a way where you can only go where you have to. Playing only the first 20 minutes there should be lots more to explore and check out, and im looking forward to doing it. The Graphics is probably what is giving the game its most points, the gloomy yet good looking environment really ads to the atmosphere and scary vibe of the game.I definitely recomend this game in its current state!. I begrudgingly give this title a thumbs up. I wish I had a "wait" button to choose.I enjoyed my time with it, and I am interested to see what happens with chapter two.But a big warning regards price for the amount of content. I am generously saying two hours to complete this title. I know its early access, and I wouldn't be raising this issue if the price reflected a two hour long (early access state) indie title. Please watch my video to help you decide if this is worth picking up for you.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6ARKyDmpHgReview copy provided by developer.. Not bad for an early access game, though it was rather short. I will look forward to see what happens in the next chapter. Graphically, the game is lovely. The environments are spooky and creepy, but the enemies need work, they are just not scary enough. Survival Horror are the games I like the most and there was at no point in the game that I was scared or had a jump out of my seat moment, so a little work may be needed to make it scarier. All in all, if you like walking/running adventures, then you will like this game. My only gripe with games like this is that every character talks other than you. There is no player dialog and I always find that it makes the game seem dull. Also the English translation of some of the text in the game needs some work.7/10 for me, but this may change when the new chapter is released or there are patches to improve what could be an excellent game.. Complete waste of money .... keeps crashing!!. 30 minute review:I want to get the glitches out of the way at the top of the review. The game's walls and obstructions are oddly placed. There are points where you can scale the side of a mountain by pushing up, and others where you'll get sent flying over the island like Superman. As for the game itself... it has more in spirit to do with Slender than Outlast or Alien. You're caught on an island following a horrific vision, and the game doesn't do a good job of telling you why or what's happening. The tagline says the game won't hold your hand, but there's a difference between holding your hand and giving some basic guidance. The island is scattered with landmarks in Slender esque fashion without the beating drum of an ever present monster hunting you. However, some of the sites are freaky and will make it difficult for scaredy cats (me) to enter. I had one moment where I had to summon up the courage to run into a church. The surprise appearance of enemies will make for some scream inducing moments. Sound design is pretty good. Although there's not much in the way of music, the howls and distant screams are disturbing.Overall, I enjoy the game, but it needs some more polish. The world needs to be better walled so that you don't get sent flying around. Second, a bit more guidance would probably be useful, not only to get the game complete, but to put together a cohesive story. I have only the most vague idea of why I'm on the island or what I'm doing. As the gods of the internet demand, I have played this game while recording. I streamed it last night at four in the morning... a bad decision. Specifically, watch betwewen 21 mins and 24 mins for the big scream... and an interesting glitch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wb0Lr2XG0BU. Perfect example of how to ruin an atmospheric horror game!! The game never had any good gameplay mechanics but it was fine in the first chapter, as there was little combat and the game was primarily focused on the atmosphere. It all changed in the second and final chapter. The game suddenly became a shooter with aliens attacking you. This would not be so bad had the games controls actually been good. The aiming is atrocious and the character movement just horrible! Worst of all is the battle against the beast. How stupid! You are forced to fight a beat with a gun that is next to impossible to aim, even if he is right in front of you. The controls are barely responsive and something even reloeding is a chore as you need to press the reload button a few times. When you manage to reloed, for some reason, it takes a few seconds to be able to shoot, whilst the beast gets closer. The game had great potential in the first chapter but the programmers decided to become lazy and make this a shooter with controls that were not even acceptable in the ps1 era. Fortunately, this game and so I did not waste so much money in buying this crap.. After playing the game for a really long time I realized I hate the game. I love the horror but the game needs to be easier. Theres a lot of shadows that take half of your health and you die really easily. Save areas are very hard to find in some areas so if you don't have 52 health or more, you are F%$#ed. Need to idle/afk and heal up to 100 every time you get attacked. Save frequently so you avoid starting over, this means you have to go around 3 miles to find a save point in some areas.I got this far, saved 1 soul out of 3, didn't get to find the fiance, found some guy robbing a car and died. No save points were found at all near the area. Respawned ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE BEACH and had to walk/run about 3 miles or more to try again. It felt like a serious waste of time. This game requires WAY TOO MUCH PATIENCE AND TIME. I'm sorry to put it as not recommended. If I really want to beat this game, it would take about a month to several months to beat it.. I've been having issues with the game ever since I bought it. It's been run through two separate computers and both times the game has been unplayable. The main issue is that whenever the game start up, not the unity display, but the the game menu itself will shift to the very bottom right corner of my screen and I'm only able to see the top corner, therefore unplayable. I've scanned the game files integrity and whatever I do or whatever people tell me to do, it just doesnt seem to work. Please help me because I'd hate to see my money wasted on a dysfunctional game. Definitely one of my favorite indie horror games. Shadows Peak is atmospheric and story driven without holding your hand. The game employs various horror mechanics throughout each chapter, giving players a wider breadth of experience. On top of all this, the game is actually finished and not broken, unlike many other indie horror games in its genre. I was left excited to try other games made by the same creator.. Wow.. that was.. something. The modeling rought. The game play.. feel like Myst but in 3d.. and that for me doesn't make for great game play. Some of the scares are interesting, but the games just not holding my attention. If your way into creepy roving rover fetch quest puzzles.. By all means go for it. If not then steer clear.
