It follows the golden game design rule of allowing you to take more risks to go faster. It has problems, but when it works, it feels like being inside Celeste or Super Meat Boy. The core gameplay is enjoyable, but there are some flaws.. Awesome game, picked it up last time it was on sale. Gonna have to give it a full playthrough now i have more time. From first experience i highly recommend!. 5/10DEVS: This is a fun concept, but loads of stuff need changing here before it is in a saleable condition. 2 examples: 1) when you press to hold a ledge with both controllers together, sometimes one of the inputs fail, leaving you plummeting o your doom in an utterly unfair way. 2) a certain press of buttons in a certain way when reaching for a cube will trigger the game to restart, all progress lost.. This game is awesome. The style reminds me of tron and great playing with some music. Dev is active and helped me out when I got stuck. Really cheap for the amount of content too. Look forward to see whats added in the future.. A good idea only adequately executed. Got it as part of a bundle for a low price, so I can't complain, but at full price I'd say no. The controls are imprecise and consistently frustrating and the physics are inconsistent, and given the nature of the gameplay, that pretty much throws the whole thing. Particularly after enjoying the locomotion of Lone Echo, to which this is easy to compare, I found this difficult to enjoy.Edit: Changing to a positive, after thinking about it. I'm taken enough by the concept to keep coming back to it, and some of my issues were more about learning the systems at play and unlearning other games' physics. Worth five bucks.. Really positive experience playing this game, the levels feel polished and there's always enough challenge to keep me invested, would recommend!
